Marie Ultimene (Yayie) Colas

Marie Ultimene (Yayie) Colas passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 99. Born on January 17, 1927, in Toronto, she was a beloved member of her family and community. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Jean Emilio Colas, and her son, Alphonse. She is survived by her children: Pierre, William, Joseph, Sénèque, Danielle, Carrole, Roger, Placide, François, and Marie-Aurore, as well as her sister, Marilie. Marie also leaves behind a legacy of 40 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Albion Chapel, followed by a funeral service at St. Roch's Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Starthrower Foundation or a charity of choice supporting children and women.
