Maria Menecola

Maria Menecola, a resident of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 94. She was born on September 3, 1932. Maria is survived by her beloved husband, Lorenzo Menecola, and her children, Joe (Diane) and Lucy (John Italiano). She was a cherished grandmother to Laura (Ray Merlo), Leanne (Andrew Puffer), Joey (Jordan Pennell), Anthony, Julia (Mathew Pantalone), John Marc, David (Tiana), and Robert (Melissa), as well as a proud great-grandmother to Isla, Mia, Liam, Emma, Brayden, Alesia, Brianna, Lawrence, Daniella, and Violet. Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mimico Chapel, located at 63 Mimico Ave, Etobicoke, ON. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, followed by burial at Riverside Cemetery at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Joseph's Health Centre Foundation.
