Maria Cirone

Maria Cirone of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on October 4, 1931, Maria shared her life with family, friends, and her community. She was predeceased by her parents, Antonino Battaglia and Providenza Battaglia. Maria is survived by her husband, Giuseppe (Joe); her children, Rocchetta Marie (Massoud) and Domenic (Lucy); her granddaughter, Victoria; and her siblings-in-law, Nick and Nellina. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, located at 6191 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M2M4K4. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 9:30 AM at St Pascal Baylon Church, 92 Steeles Ave W, Thornhill, ON L4J1A1. A committal service will follow on the same day from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Highland Memory Gardens, 33 Memory Gardens Ln, North York, ON M2H3C8. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maria's memory to the charitable organization of your choosing.
