Maria Capone

Maria Capone, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on December 5, 1939, Maria lived a life surrounded by family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Amilcare and her parents, Giovanni and Filomena. Maria is survived by her son Marco (Anna); her siblings, Teresa, Francesco, and Mario; her children, Ferruccio, Connie (Donato), Diana (Amedeo), and Ada (late Paul); her grandchildren, Valerie (Richard), Stefania (Carlos), Vince (Daniela), Amanda (Dave), Nadia, Alyssa, and Michael; and her great-grandchildren, Aliyah, Adriana, Gian Carlo, Luca, Cristian, Dante, Danny, Gabriel, Jacob, Emily, Leah, and Douglas. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jerrett Funeral Homes, located at 1141 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1B1. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Clare's Roman Catholic Church, 1118 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E3M6. Following the Mass, burial will occur at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1C6. Donations in memory of Maria Capone may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Stop, an organization dedicated to community food programs.
