Maria Almandina Mello

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Almandina Mello in Toronto, Ontario. Maria was born on January 17, 1935, and she departed this life on October 17, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents, Maria-Rosaria and Jose, her husband Anibal Mello, and her siblings Jose, Teresa, Jacinto, and Joao. Maria is survived by her daughter Julie and her husband Alberto, her granddaughters Amanda and Melissa, as well as her siblings Dora and Alvarim. Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cardinal Funeral Home, located at 366 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON M5T 2S6. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, situated at 588 Adelaide St W, Toronto, ON M6J3P8. Following the service, an entombment will occur at 11:45 AM at Park Lawn Cemetery - Paradise Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Pink Door Society in honor of Almandina's beautiful legacy.
