MARGARET MARY LINGEMAN

MARGARET MARY LINGEMAN passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, at the age of 98, at Sunnybrook Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Toronto, Ontario, to James and Mary Varley, she was predeceased by her brothers Jack Varley, Fr. Neil Varley, William Varley, and sister Eileen Larmer. She is loved by her many nieces and nephews. Margaret attended Notre Dame High School and St. Michael's Hospital School of Nursing. In 1957, she married Donald, and they were together for 50 years, having four children: Donna-Marie Lingeman, Joanne Lingeman, Paul Lingeman, and Mary Penny. Margaret was devoted to her family and friends and was involved with her grandchildren, Brian, Joanne, Roslyn, Gordon, and Charles. She enjoyed curling, playing bridge, and volunteering with various organizations. A funeral service will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church.
