MARGARET "MAGGIE" (JONES) NEBOUT

Margaret 'Maggie' (Jones) Nebout passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 81. She was a beloved big sister of David (Susan) Jones, a much-loved aunt of Matthew (Diana) and Andrew, and a great-aunt to Ellie and Louise. Maggie studied at the University of Toronto on scholarship and the Sorbonne University, France, graduating in 1967 to join the Diplomatic Corps. She served at embassies in Belgium, West Germany, and France, and later worked with the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Human Rights Commission, and Freedom of Information/Privacy Commission. Maggie also volunteered extensively with the Animal Alliance and Humane Society. She will be dearly missed by many friends around the world, at Hendricks Court, Toronto, and her bridge clubs.
