Margaret Kanae Nagai

The family of Margaret Kanae Nagai of Toronto, Ontario, announces her passing on October 10, 2026. Born on April 13, 1921, Margaret is remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was predeceased by her husband, Teruo "Ted"; her daughter, Eleanor Louise; her parents, Takaoka Tatsutsui and Yone; and her siblings, Masawo "Joe" (Rinko), Yoshio, Shizue "Ethel" Asae (Sadaichi), Donald "Don" Hideo, Fumie Kinoshita (Seichi), Mary Toshiko, George Minoru (Catherine "Kay" Keiko), and Harry Hiroshi. Margaret is survived by her sons, Gordon Raymond and Harvey Gerald, as well as her grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Stephanie, Aiden, Vivienne, and Violet. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Momiji Health Care Society or to Providence Healthcare Foundation.
