MAJOR PAMELA GLADYS WOODS

Major Pamela Gladys Woods passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 90. Born in Harrow, England, she emigrated to Toronto and entered The Salvation Army Training College in 1958 and was commissioned as an officer in 1959. Major Woods served in various appointments until her retirement in 1999. She is survived by her niece Dianne Gay, cousin Wes Carter, cousin-in-law Lyndia Eberhardt-Butler and friends and associates across Canada and abroad. A Service of Celebration will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30th at The Salvation Army North Toronto Community Church, located at 817 Mt. Pleasant Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army World Missions or a charity of one's choice.
