Lloyda Edwina Franklin

Lloyda Edwina Franklin, born on January 26, 1930, passed away on October 10, 2026. She is predeceased by her husband, Don Franklin; her sisters, Betty Myers, Thelma Anita Sweetnam (Lyn), and Christine Alverna Thompson (Berl); and her parents, Silverina Fernandes and Thomas Fernandes. Lloyda is survived by her siblings, Shirley Melrose Jackman and Lester Llewelyn Fernandes (Mili Iturrino), along with her nieces and nephews, Christine Rudder, Terry, Keith, Colin Myers, Lisa Freemantle, Kim Thompson-Bliss, Neil Jackman, Paula Duncan, Linda Fernandes, and Gaby Fernandes. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel, located at 3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3. A funeral service will follow from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, a charity that was near and dear to Lloyda's heart.
