LINDA BARBARA MUNROE

Linda Barbara Munroe passed away on July 31, 2026, at Scarborough Retirement Residence. She was a much-loved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Esther and Philip Munroe, and her brothers, Roger and Tom. She is survived by her sisters, Maxine and Esther, and her nieces and nephews in Toronto, Kelowna, BC, and Great Britain. Linda grew up in the Beaches area of Toronto and attended Norway Public School and Eastern Commerce. In 1974, she joined the Department of External Affairs, serving alongside Canadian Ambassadors in various countries, including Africa and India. Linda was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2021. The family extends their gratitude to Nuala and Jennifer Munroe, as well as Linda's longtime friend, Penny Aver, for their support during this difficult time. The family also appreciates the care and dignity provided by Scarborough Retirement Residence.
