Leonidas Arvanitidis

Leonidas Arvanitidis, a resident of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on August 15, 1938, he is fondly remembered by family, friends, and colleagues. Leonidas was predeceased by his parents, Stefanos and Sofia. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marcella; his sons, Stephen (Nicole) and Paul; and his sister, Stella. A funeral service will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Centre, located at 50 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON M4H1B6. Following the service, a reception will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same venue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Toronto's Sunnybrook Foundation to support the hospital's ALS and Neuromuscular Clinic.
