Lena Inglis

The family announces the passing of Lena Inglis, who departed this life on October 16, 2026, at the age of 98. Lena is survived by her children, Helen (Robert), Jane (Thomas), Thomas (late Suzanne), Nancy (Norman), and John; her grandchildren, Tom, Margaret (Mitchell), John (Chin-Yin), Veronica, Mary (Toni), and Madeline (Jacob); and her great-grandchildren, Teddy, Liana, Jack, Luca, Gianna, Julian, and Gabriella. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews. Lena was predeceased by her spouse, Thomas Herbert Inglis; her parents, Dan Leguard and Mary Leguard; her sister, Noreen; and siblings Joseph, Mary Louise, Angeline, Grace, Teresa, John Richard, Bryan, and Greg. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butler Chapel, located at 4933 Dundas St W, Etobicoke, ON M9A1B6. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, situated at 3055 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X1C6. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Food for Children or a charity of your choice.
