Lawrence Joseph NEARY (Larry)

Lawrence Joseph Neary, also known as Larry, passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 70, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 23, 1955, in Peterborough, he was the son of Alma Marie Neary and Lionel Clarence Neary, and brother to Rita Marie McQuade and Michael John Neary. Larry was the beloved spouse of Margaret O'Keefe Neary for 28 years. He had a successful career in sales and sales management in Toronto, retiring as VP Sales from Ganz in 2018. A funeral mass will be held at the Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains in Peterborough on August 5th, followed by a reception at Bishop Doyle Knights of Columbus Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
