Ken Thompson

Ken Thompson of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 83. He was born on January 12, 1943. Ken is predeceased by his daughter Doreen and his wife Colleen. He is survived by his son Phil (Rebecca), his stepchildren Tom, Dan, and Kate, as well as his grandchildren Matthew, Emma, and Nolan. Visitation will take place at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home Scarborough Chapel, located at 2900 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON, on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow on September 22 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with burial at Pine Hills Cemetery at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and Crohn's and Colitis Canada in Ken's memory.
