Katerina Hurmuz

Katerina Hurmuz of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on October 1, 1931, Katerina was a cherished presence in the lives of her family, friends, and colleagues. She is predeceased by her parents, Constantine Papazoglu and Marika Papazoglu, as well as her husband, Dimitri Hurmuz. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, located at 6191 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M2M4K4. A funeral service will follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location, with a committal service at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K1R1, from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George's Greek Orthodox Church in Toronto.
