Karl Hauer

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Karl Hauer of Toronto, Ontario. Karl was born on August 30, 1926, and he passed away on October 23, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hauer; his children, Gerhardt (Victoria), Norman (Loisann), and Elizabeth (Markus); his granddaughters, Samantha, Nicole (Joseph), Christine, and Gloria; and his great-grandchild, Joey. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Kane-Jerrett North York Funeral Home, located at 6191 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M2M4K4. A funeral service will follow on the same day from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held later that day from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Highland Memory Gardens, located at 33 Memory Gardens Ln, North York, ON M2H3C8. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, situated on Don Mills Rd. south of Steeles Ave. Donations may be made in memoriam to Canadian Lutheran World Relief at http://www.clwr.org.
