JOYCE PEARL MITCHELL

Joyce Pearl Mitchell, born on November 9, 1929, in Toronto, passed away quietly on January 30, 2026, at the age of 96. She was the loving mother of Mark (Arlene) and a devoted grandmother to Ross (Ellen), Kevin, and Melanie. Joyce was the daughter of William Bushell Ross and Alvina Ross (Lougheed) and cherished her relationship with her older brother, Bill, and his wife, Toby. In 1955, she married Jack Mitchell (1927-2008) and they resided in Leaside, Toronto, until their retirement to their cottage on Muldrew Lake in Gravenhurst in 1992. Joyce often expressed that her heart would always be in Muskoka. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. A Celebration of Life will take place in Gravenhurst on Saturday, April 25th at 1 p.m.
