John David Murphy (JD)

John David Murphy, a lifelong resident of Greater Toronto, passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on June 3, 1954, John was a devoted family man who cherished time with his spouse, Anne, and their children, Jonathan and Laura. He is survived by his father, John; brothers, Mike, Paul, and Mark; sisters, Patricia, Mary, Maureen, and Jackie; and a group of close friends. John had a successful career, working with Nestlé, Rowntree, and LEGO Canada, where he spent 23 years. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying football, hockey, and golf, and cheering on his favourite teams. John's love of travel was also a highlight of his life, and he and Anne made the most of their opportunities to explore. John's family would like to extend their gratitude to LEGO for their support and understanding during his illness.
