JOAN MARY GILBRIDE

Joan Mary Gilbride (nee Grant) passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Kevin Gilbride, who passed away in November 2022. Joan will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kim, Kelly, and Kevin; her grandchildren, Avery, Jeanette, Nicole, Nolan, Mackenzie, Kirstyn, Eryn, Brianna, and Marissa; and her great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Joan was predeceased by her sister- and brothers-in-law, Marie, Michael, and David, and survived by her sisters- and brothers-in-law, Ann, Nora, John, Margaret, Susan, and Janet. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, followed by a service and interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care.
