JEAN MARGARET SWEENEY

Margaret Sweeney, a cherished wife, mother, grandma, sister-in-law, and aunt, passed away on February 14, 2026, at the age of 87. Born in Kirkland Lake on September 19, 1938, she was the dear wife of Terry Sweeney for 65 years. Predeceased by Pearl and Edward Lawson and her twin brother, Doug. She is survived by her loving children, Dan Sweeney, Kathleen Sarrasin, Teresa Sweeney-Letsche, and Maureen Skuja. Margaret was especially proud of her 10 grandchildren. Family and friends will receive her at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 2 to 3 p.m. A memorial service will follow in the Ogden Chapel at 3 p.m. The family would like to thank everyone at Chester Village for their compassionate care of Margaret in her final years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
