JACK JIN

Jack Jin passed away peacefully at North York General Hospital on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on February 15, 1938, in Lung Kai Lei village, outside of Guangzhou, in Guangdong Province, China, Jack immigrated to Canada at the age of 11 and grew up in the Cabbagetown neighbourhood in Toronto. He is survived by his sons, Edward, Howard, and Bernard; daughter-in-law, Paula; his sister-in-law, Lesley; nieces, Ashley and Victoria; and great-nephew, Noah. Jack is also survived by his grandchildren, Anneka, Serge, Sabrina, Luca, and Elle. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Helen (2009); son, Richard (2023); brothers, Jim (2020) and Handy (2025); sister-in-law, Betty (2022); and his parents, Poy Ark and Chu See.
