Ilda Maria Sousa

Ilda Maria Sousa passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on February 27, 1940, Ilda was a cherished member of her family, friends, and community. She is predeceased by her parents, Antonio and Ilda, as well as her siblings, Gloria, Luisa, Egidio, and Aureliano. Ilda is survived by her sister Maria, who, along with family and friends, will carry forward the memories of her character and spirit. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, located at 211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T3Z6. A funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of St. Joseph at the same location. In memory of Ilda, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
