HUGH LIGHTBODY

HUGH LIGHTBODY passed away on the morning of April 27, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Dorothy Lightbody; his sisters Veda and Karen; and his wife, Patricia. He is survived by his adoring daughter, Shawna, her husband, Roger; and his grandson, Nevan. Also mourning his loss are his nephews, many cousins, and friends. Hugh was born in Ridgetown, Ontario, and later moved to Lindsay at age 12. He went on to attend Queen's University to study Electrical Engineering and had a successful career in the engineering sector before retiring in his early 60s. After retirement, Hugh taught mathematics and business at Seneca College until age 80.
