Hugh Donaldson passed away on February 24, 2026, at the age of 82. He was predeceased by his wife, Isobel (nee McGovern), and his brother, David. He leaves behind his children, David and Heather; his sisters, Helen and Charlotte; his grandchildren, Samantha, Star, Quinn, and Bella; and his niece, Barb. Hugh had a successful career at the Toronto Transit Commission, where he retired after 32 years in 2003. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
