He is survived by his wife Margaret; his children Dave (married to Laura), Steve (married to Kim) and Susan (married to Dave); his grandchildren Tanner (daughter of Rachel), Lucas (son of Alexis), Jake (son of Keyra), Alyson, Rylan, Ella, Blair and Lyla; and his great‑grandchild Ashlyn. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Honeywood Arena (cheques payable to the Township of Mulmur) or to the Honeywood Firefighters Association.
