GWENDOLYN MARY HOLMES

GWENDOLYN MARY HOLMES passed peacefully at home on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on January 26, 1935, in Toronto, Gwen was the youngest daughter of George and Ada Holmes, and sister to Marion, Louise, and Sylvia. She will be deeply missed by her 3 surviving nephews, Alastair, John, Blake, and Christy Fyfe. Gwen was predeceased by no family members mentioned. The family extends special thanks to Gwen's dear and dedicated friend, Olga, and her dedicated caregiving team, Jonah, Grace, Lisa, Floccer, and Catherine. Gwen will be interred at Pine Hills Cemetery at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 28th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Women's College Hospital Foundation or The Scott Mission.
