Gudrun Maria Diston

The family of Gudrun Maria Diston of Toronto, Ontario, announces her passing on September 17, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on March 1, 1934, Gudrun is remembered fondly by her husband David and their children: Carmen (CJ), Michael (Leslee), Dolores (Iain Kwapien), Marion (Hans Kreder), Tessa, and Yolanda (David Vance). She is also survived by her niece Christina, grandchildren David (Micah), Karen (Nolan), Richard (Margeaux), Geoffrey (Nicole), Erik (Livia), Rane, Michael (Linda), Jason (Kristin), Theresa (Julian), Mark (Mel), Matthew (Trevor), and Emily, as well as her great-grandchildren Zoe, Emmitt, Kennedy, Logan, Rory, Benedict, Brooks, Billie, Sage, Maverick, James, Anneliese, Nathaniel, and Basil. A funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, followed by a reception at Ridley Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
