GORDON VAIL

Gordon Vail passed away on February 22, 2026, in his 91st year. He was the devoted husband of Beverley for 57 years and a loving father to Lori and Scott. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Spencer, Jackson, and Madison, as well as his grand-doggies, Dozer and Marlie. Gordon was a community-minded individual who was always active and full of energy. He was a familiar presence at FHCC and local festivals, and he loved his home teams, the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. He coached baseball teams for many years with Alderwood Soft Ball. A Memorial Visitation will be held on March 14th from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at The Ridley Funeral Home, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Guests are invited to the reception at The Ridley Funeral Home after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Hemochromatosis Society would be appreciated by the Vail family.
