Giuseppe Altomare

Giuseppe Altomare, born on February 6, 1934, in Toronto, Ontario, passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his parents, Francesco and Rosina, as well as his brothers, Silvio and Antonio. Giuseppe is survived by his children, Rosa (Carl) and Frank (Denise), and his grandsons, Adam and Michael. He also leaves behind his siblings, Gina, Maria, Umberto, and Anna, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ward Funeral Home - Weston Chapel, located at 2035 Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M9N1X7. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location, followed by a burial at Westminster Cemetery, 5830 Bathurst St, North York, ON M2R1Y6, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Diabetes Canada or to the Hennick Humber Hospital Foundation.
