GIOVANNI ANTONIO SARAGOSA

Giovanni Antonio Saragosa passed away on June 6, 2026, in his 90th year. Born on December 27, 1935, to Antonio and Alessandra Saragosa in Cassino, Italy, he immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1956 with his parents. He worked as a carpenter and eventually had his own company for over twenty years. Giovanni was married to Anna for 59 years and was father to Ronnie and Michael. He was the proud Nonno to his grandchildren, James, Angelica, and Christopher. Giovanni was predeceased by his brother, Cosimo. In addition to his children and grandchildren, he is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews in Italy and Canada. Visitation will take place at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
