GIANFRANCO ROSOLEN

Gianfranco Rosolen passed away peacefully at his home on July 30, 2026, at the age of 82, surrounded by his wife, Maria, and daughter, Deanna. He was the beloved husband of Maria for almost 55 years and a cherished father to Deanna and her husband, John. Gianfranco was also a devoted Nonno to Benjamin and Lily-Margaret. Born in Francenigo, Italy, he immigrated to Canada at the age of 22 and settled in Toronto. Gianfranco was a skilled individual who pursued various interests, including English classes, a sheet metal program at George Brown College, and dance classes. He was known for his elegant dancing and charming personality. Gianfranco worked hard to build a life in Canada and was proud of his accomplishments. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Jessica Zive, Anita Stern from Dorothy Ley Hospice, and the personal support workers who cared for Gianfranco, including Gurpreet, Sofia, Este, Sam, and Ike. Visitation will be held at Newediuk Funeral Home.
