It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Meanchos, who departed this life on September 20, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on April 15, 1938, George was a cherished individual known for his warmth and thoughtfulness. He leaves behind a legacy of meaningful connections and shared moments that will be fondly remembered by family and friends. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ralph Day Chapel, located at 50 Overlea Blvd, East York, ON. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Thorncliffe Park Dr., Toronto, ON. George will be laid to rest at Pine Hills Cemetery at 11:45 AM on the same day.
