GEORGE BORUSIEWICH

George Borusiewich, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on the evening of Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the age of 94, at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga. Born on September 27, 1931, in Montreal, Quebec, George was predeceased by his parents, Alexandra and John Borusiewich; his daughter, Nancy Christie; and his grandson, Misha Krysti. He is survived by his wife, Vera; daughter, Nadine McRoberts; son-in-law, Mike Lésperance; granddaughter, Erin McRoberts; and son-in-law, Anthony Christie. The family has requested that donations be made in George's name to the Shevchenko Museum in Toronto, the Shevchenko Musical Ensemble, and the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
