Frederick Paul Hurwitz passed away on February 16, 2026. He is survived by his loving partner, Barbara Eckert, and his children, Edward, Simon Carrington, and Peter Carrington. Service will be held at Rachel Kaplan Hebrew Memorial, 675 Aylmer Avenue, Windsor on Wednesday, February 18th at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, Windsor, ON. Shiva will be observed at 19 Rondale Blvd. in Toronto. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, February 22nd at The National Club, 303 Bay St. in Toronto.
