Evangelos Taskas

Evangelos Taskas of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on August 22, 1943, he is survived by his beloved wife, Lena Taskas, and their children, Sofie and Tommy, along with son-in-law Elias and grandchildren, Eden and Georgen. Evangelos is remembered fondly by family, friends, and colleagues for the moments shared and the memories created throughout his life. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O'Connor Bros. Chapel, located at 50 Overlea Blvd, East York, ON. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral, followed by burial at Pine Hills Cemetery.
