ERIC HUGO FORS

Eric Hugo Fors passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on November 28, 1932, in Toronto, Ontario, Eric was predeceased by his parents, Ivar and Aino Fors; his brother, Arne; and his twin sister, Aileen. He is survived by his sister, L. Anne Fors Beyers. Eric was the cherished husband of Nancy Fors (nee Lavis) for 62 years. He was a loving and devoted father to Kimberly, Michael, who predeceased him, and Shelley (Mark). He was also an adoring grandfather to Matthew, Liam, and Aili. Eric was a devoted educator who found great joy in teaching and was loved and respected by his many students. He will also be remembered by his sister-in-law, Carol Officer and her husband, Steve, as well as a lively and energetic collection of nephews and nieces.
