Elvira Matilde Teresa Rodgers (nee Roig) passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 89 in Toronto, Ontario, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Havana, Cuba, on August 29, 1936, Elvira is survived by her five children and nine grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Percival Dow Rodgers, as well as her parents and only brother. A moral pillar of stability for her family, Elvira was deeply loved and will be missed by all.
