Elizabeth Emma Tory

Elizabeth Emma Tory, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on January 15, 1932, she was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Helen Bacon, her siblings Anna, Rena-Mae, and Ted, and her former husband John. Elizabeth is survived by her children, John, Jennifer, Jeffrey (Anik), and Michael, as well as her grandchildren, John (Melanie), Christopher (Sadie), Susan, and George (Allie). She is also survived by her spouse, Alexandra Meschino (Conor), along with Joy and Cora. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Humphrey Funeral Home A. W. Miles - Newbigging Chapel Ltd. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Rosedale United Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation, the AGO, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, or the Lost Tree Foundation would be appreciated.
