DR. ANNE AGUR

Dr. Anne Maria Reet Agur (née Vilde) passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on November 10, 1953, in Toronto, she was predeceased by her parents, Raimond and Valentina Vilde (née Kärner). She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Enno, children Erik, Amy, and Kristina, brother Peter (Sandy), nephews and niece Robyn, Tomas, and Serena, as well as brothers-in-law Arno (Tiiu), Peter (Tiina), and many nephews and nieces and several cousins, relatives, and friends in Canada and Estonia. Dr. Agur grew up on Castlefield Avenue in Toronto, attending Allenby PS, Glenview SPS, and North Toronto CI. She graduated with a BSc in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto and later completed her Masters in Anatomy under the direction of Dr. Ian Taylor in 1978. She was an instructor in the Department of Anatomy at U of T and met her husband, Enno, at an Estonian Scout and Guide Jamboree in Germany in July 1970. They married on January 15, 1977, and had a short honeymoon in Quebec City. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Humphrey Funeral Home.
