Dorothea Simitsis

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothea Simitsis, who departed this life on September 18, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on July 17, 1943, in Toronto, Ontario, Dorothea was cherished by family and friends for her warmth and thoughtfulness. Her influence on those around her will be fondly remembered. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel, located at 3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. John's Greek Orthodox Church, 1385 Warden Ave., Scarborough, ON M1R2S3, followed by burial at Pine Hills Cemetery from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
