Dora Castriota

The family announces the passing of Dora Castriota in Toronto, Ontario, on October 12, 2026. Born on December 20, 1931, Dora was surrounded by many cherished relationships throughout her life. She is survived by her beloved husband, Franco; her children, Marilena (Randy Geldart), Dario (Josephine), and Pino (Barb); her grandchildren, Nicole (Mike), Sandra (Paul), Frank (Lauren), Adam (Maren), Meredith (Christian), Samantha (Mark), and Brandyn (Ashley); and her great-grandchildren, Grace, Leo, Vivian, Ella, Mackenzie, Cole, Reid, Bodi, and Ryan. Dora is also remembered by her brother, sisters, relatives, and many friends. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Delmoro Funeral Home, located at 61 Beverly Hills Drive, Toronto, ON M3L 1A2. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Jane Frances Catholic Church, 2747 Jane Street, North York, ON M3L 2E8. An entombment will follow on the same day from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Beechwood Cemetery, Vaughan, ON L4K 1A7. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dora may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
