DIANE PHYLLIS SCHLEYER

Diane Phyllis Schleyer passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 70, following a courageous battle with Melanoma. She was the loved daughter of the late Cedric and Thora Schleyer and loving niece to her guardian, the late Phyllis Thorpe. Diane was a devoted mama to her late dogs, Daisy and Sally, and to Panda. She requested special mention of her friends, Tom Sime, James Shuttleworth, Hilord, Marilyn, and Vera. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of Diane's caregivers, including the staff at Association of Community Living and Amik, Home Care Nurses, PSW's, Doctors, and Nurses at Odette Cancer Centre and Michael Garron Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held at Amik, 419 Coxwell Avenue, Toronto, on Friday, May 1st from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Diane will be interred at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, where she will be reunited with her parents.
