DAVID CURTIS COLLISON

David Curtis Collison passed away on May 14, 2026, at the age of 83. Born in January 1943 to Harvey and Marion Collison, David grew up on Nora Road in Toronto, attended Islington Public School and Etobicoke Collegiate, and graduated from the business school at Western University in 1966. He joined the family business, SMS Machine Tools in Toronto, where he enjoyed a lifelong career. Together with his brother, Dorne, David grew the company into one of Canada's leading machine tool dealerships. David was predeceased by his parents, his sisters, Carol Benson and Gloria McAlpine, and his brother, Dorne Collison. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Ruth, his children, Anne, Matthew, and Jane, and his grandchildren, Addison, Keaton, Perry, Harvey, and Forrest.
