DANUTA SMITH

DANUTA SMITH passed away quietly on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto, with her family at her side, at the age of 78. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bryce. She is survived by her loving children, Alexander Smith, Sandra Kanjee (Raageen), and Carolyn Mendle-Smith (Jonathan). She is also survived by her dear brother, Christopher Kurowski (Lorna) and John Kurowski, and sister-in-law of Douglas Smith (Betty Anne). Danuta was a cherished aunt of Candace Redmond, Katherine Smith, Rebecca Kurowski, and Richard Kurowski (Kamille). Visitation will be at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11 a.m., with reception to follow.
