CYNTHIA ANNE STEWART

Cynthia Anne Stewart (nee Mulzac) passed away on March 16, 2026, at the age of 83. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Nicole Stewart Kamanga (Deland), Jerome (Kathy), and their father, Lonze; her grandchildren, Kristian, Laiya, Alexis, and Khala; her siblings, Pamela (Grant), Althea, and Wayne (Fabiola); and her nephews and niece. She was predeceased by her parents, Florence and Albans. Born in Trinidad, Cynthia immigrated to London, England, at 19, and then to Toronto with her family in 1969. A devoted mother with a creative spirit, Cynthia worked full-time while sewing clothes, cooking from scratch, baking bread every weekend, and imparting the importance of kindness and hard work. She poured her love into each grandchild, teaching them their ABC's, baking with them, and taking them to Caribbean cultural events. Cynthia was an avid gardener and an exceptional, self-taught artist, with a passion for painting, calligraphy, and greeting card design, having had several successful art exhibits.
