Constance Deana Espielithies passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 90. Born in 1936 in Kollines, Arkadia, Greece, she immigrated to Canada with her parents as a young child and settled in Toronto. Deana was a dedicated member of the Greek community, serving on the council of the Panarcadian Federation of Canada and as Executive Secretary of the Arcadia Society of Kolokotronis. She also played a key role in establishing the Hellenic Park and Recreation in Innisfil, Ontario. A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University, Deana worked as a model and window display artist, and she loved to travel and explore Europe and the Caribbean. Deana is survived by her first cousins, Charles, Panagiota, Georgia, and George, as well as nearly 70 nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and nephews in Greece, the United States, and the United Kingdom, and her 11 precious Godchildren. She was predeceased by her cousins, Chrisoula, Bill, Ekaterini, Peter, Nicholas, Georgia, George, Xenia, and Demetra. The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel on Wednesday, February 18, from 2:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Church on Thursday, February 19, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
