Christos Arvanitis

The family of Christos Arvanitis announces his passing on September 15, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on March 29, 1934, in Toronto, he is remembered fondly by his family and friends. Christos was predeceased by his parents, Demetrios and Konstantina Arvanitis. He is survived by his beloved spouse Hrysoula, children Jimmy (Dimitra), Nina (Carmelo), and Joanna, as well as his grandchildren Christos, Maria, Domenic, and Juliana. He also leaves behind his sisters Athanasia, Chrisa, and Vivian, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, followed by a funeral service from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. Burial will occur at Pine Hills Cemetery at 2:15 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson's Canada.
