Brigitte Rolko

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brigitte Rolko in Toronto, Ontario. Born on March 15, 1937, Brigitte departed this life on October 13, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents, Josef Sailer and Maria Sailer; her brother, Otto Sailer; and her husband, Leslie Szalatkay Rolko. Brigitte is survived by her sons, Michael (Edith) and Christopher; her grandchildren, Emily (Matthew), Andrew (Kristi), Sarah (Sam), Thomas (Brittany), and David (Caroline); her great-grandchildren, Raphael and Jane; as well as her nieces, Alice, Ingrid, Judit, Zsuzsanna, and Kati. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, located at 1939 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1R2Y8. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Bonaventure's Church, situated at 1300 Leslie St, Toronto, ON M3C2K9. Following the Mass, a reception will be held at 11:30 AM at the same location, with burial at the Cremated Remains Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery, located at 305 Erskine Ave, Toronto, ON M4P1Z7. In lieu of flowers, donations to the North York General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
