BAYLIE KASTNER

Baylie Kastner (nee Schulman) died on June 1, 2026, at the age of 96, just days after celebrating her 96th birthday. She passed away in the apartment she had loved for many years, surrounded by photographs, art, books, flowers, and mementos from her extensive travels to all seven continents. Baylie was raised in Cornwall, ON, and was the beloved mother of David, Nancy (Bob), Alan (Carlein), and Jeffrey (Karen); cherished grandmother of Andrea (Colin), Martin (Melissa), and Megan (Adam); and proud great-grandmother of Jonah, Theo, Naomi, and Nora. She is also survived by her sister, Eunice, as well as an enormous chosen family of friends and relatives whose lives were enriched by her warmth, generosity, and friendship. Baylie was predeceased by her husband, Michael Kastner. Private services will be held.
